Modern full size 4/4 hand made violin from France. Very sweet and projective soprano sounding violin with nice attention to detailed craftsmanship. Original golden brown varnish with beautiful two piece back. All 4 strings have a very sensitive balanced sound from the low to the high positions and are easy to play. Very clean articulation and fast response for fast passages. It has been recently set up and made ready to play, and is an ideal instrument for orchestral and chamber music playing. It has a label written by the luthier in his own hand writing: “Antonius Stradiuarius 1720 copie by Ramons Corbeille 1991.”
